Easter is a special time for christians as we celebrate the Lord Jesus Christ and a time where we look at our own hearts and examine them.
Easter reminds us of the shape of the Gospel.
We reflect on maundy Thursday about the passover meal. Jesus modelled servant leadership to us and so we reflect on that in a service of reflection, ending with foot washing that reminds us of how to lead.
On Friday we will come together at 9am for a combined service and think about the people at the cross. What were they thinking and feeling and witnessing as Jesus is led to the cross? What do we learn from looking at this scripture?
And then on Sunday we celebrate the risen Jesus and we ask: How does the resurection change us? Does it matter?
This is a great time to invite a friend along to one of the services.
