Operations Manager

Operations Manager, Parish of Clarence South

Location: Howrah, Hobart

Job Type: Part-time (28 hours/week)

Closing Date: 29 April 2022

About Us

Clarence South Anglican is an evangelical parish that extends through the southern reaches of the Clarence council area in one of the fastest growing areas in Southern Tasmania. Clarence South is in the revitalisation phase and has recently launched a new contemporary service aimed at young adults and families.

In March 2021 the parish launched a new vision: To be a Church for Clarence South, making disciples of Jesus. This is underpinned by our mission statement: Loving God, His Church and our neighbour – By knowing Jesus and making Him known – Through word, prayer and deed.

We are focused on serving the community and we believe as we grow in our understanding and love of Jesus, He will send us out to make disciples, who make disciples. We believe the fundamental ways we will see this vision happen will be through a powerful prayer ministry, continued focus on God’s word and doing the good works he has prepared for us to do (Ephesians 2:10).
